6. NEWSLETTER MAILOUT VIA CLEVERREACH

The email newsletter is sent via the technical service provider CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede (“CleverReach“), to whom we transmit the data provided when subscribing to the newsletter. This transmission is carried out pursuant to Art. 6 (1) letter f GDPR and serves our legitimate interest in using a promotionally effective, secure and user-friendly newsletter system. The data you entered for the purpose of receiving the newsletter (e.g. email address) is stored on the servers of CleverReach in Germany and/or Ireland.

CleverReach uses this information to send and statistically analyse the newsletters on our behalf. For the analysis, the sent emails contain so-called web beacons and/or tracking pixels which represent one-pixel image files stored on our website. This enables us to determine whether a newsletter email was opened and which links were clicked, if applicable. With the so-called conversion tracking we can also analyse whether a pre-defined action was carried out after the link in the newsletter was clicked. Technical information is also collected (e.g. time of access, IP address, browser type and operating system). The data are solely collected in pseudonymised form and are not linked with your other personal data; a direct link to an individual person cannot be established. This data is solely used for the statistical analysis of newsletter campaigns. The results of such analyses can be used to better adapt future newsletters to the interests of the recipients.

If you would like to object to the data analysis for statistical analysis purposes, you have to unsubscribe the newsletter.

We concluded a commissioned-processing contract with CleverReach, in which we oblige CleverReach to protect our clients’ data and not to disclose the data to third parties.

We collect your salutation, your name, your address and your postcode so that we know who is contacting us and for what purpose, and so that we can forward your request instantly to the correct person. The details of your e-mail address are mandatory, since we will use it to process your request depending on the reason for you contacting us. It is not used for any other purpose.

We want you to voluntarily provide your telephone number since we will use it to process your request depending on the reason for you contacting us. 

Support requests, complaints

The information you provide us about the product will be stored in the event of a support request along with your personal details in our ERP system.

Transfer of your details to authorised distributors

If your enquiry relates to a complaint, warranty claim or similar, we will also transfer this data together with your personal details to the distributor from which you purchased the device, or to another distributor near you so that your request can be dealt with.

Storage, use and deletion

If your device is repaired or replaced by Gema, your data will be stored in our support, accounting and logistics system until the statutory storage period has elapsed, and then deleted.

 

8. DATA PROTECTION FOR APPLICATIONS AND THE APPLICATION PROCEDURES

The data controller shall collect and process the personal data of applicants for the purpose of the processing of the application procedure. The processing may also be carried out electronically. This is the case, in particular, if an applicant submits corresponding application documents by e-mail or by means of a web form on the website to the controller. If the data controller concludes an employment contract with an applicant, the submitted data will be stored for the purpose of processing the employment relationship in compliance with legal requirements. If no employment contract is concluded with the applicant by the controller, the application documents shall be automatically erased two months after notification of the refusal decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of the controller are opposed to the erasure. The buttons to these links are designed so that a connection between your PC and the respective network is only established if you follow the link by clicking it. This also applies to websites to which our portal links but which are operated by third-party providers. An example of such links would be videos on our website that are retrieved from YouTube. USE OF YOUTUBE

Our website supports the embedding of YouTube videos from YouTube LLC. (901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, hereinafter referred to as “YouTube”). YouTube is an affiliate of Google. The function allows videos placed on YouTube to be displayed in an iFrame on the website. The option “Enable privacy-enhanced mode” is activated.
